I hope everyone had a great holiday. In our household, it was work, work, work. Looks like we will be shooting in Guangzhou, China at ACE studios. Henry Luk has come aboard to producer the shoot. The script has undergone a massive revision, setting the story in Yangon, Myanmar. The story is essentially the same. It follows David Anderson (Sasha Mitchell) a UN Peacekeeper with a murky past. He is assigned to protect and transport Jenny (Clare Kramer) to the Yangon Justice Minister to testify about seeing the Myanmar secret police murdering UN aide workers. As hundreds (literally) hunt and pursue them, Anderson uses the underground tunnel system from World War 2, to elude assassins. The Secret Police Officer trying to kill Jenny is TUN (possibly, Mark Dacascos). In the course of a harrowing escape, Anderson and Jenny are assisted by a CIA operative (Kevin Sorbo). Its the biggest action movie I've ever attempted. Bigger than Nemesis or Cyborg. The DP is Michael Su. We begin at the end of January and will screen during the Cannes film market in May. The new title: THE KICKBOXER: CITY OF BLOOD. Mike Leeder is co-producing and handling the Chinese casting. Tony Riparetti is doing the music and mixing, I'm talking to a few editors right now. I'm still hope my editor on Cyborg, Rozanne Zingale can do it. If not her then I move to the next name on the list. I spoke to Ernie Barbarash who just directed "Pound of Flesh" with Van Damme and he spoke well of Henry and Ace Studios. So its moving fast now and we should have a new teaser art later this week. I am headed to LA to do a photo shoot with Sasha. - Albert
