![]() Since ROAD TO HELL has already secured distribution, I get asked all the time, why don't I just surrender the film to the distributor and allow the film to go out in all the home video channels. I haven't because I believe in the film and believe in the big screen experience is the best way of seeing the movie. I realize that I can't reach as many viewers this way but I have been given the luxury of pursuing my dream so I'm taking it. For many years (decades) I was content to finish a film and turn it over to the studios for distribution and then forget about the film and move on to the next. It was a big regret now that I look back. Yes its important to get your film out to the world, but only when you feel you've done as much as you can to make the film work. I'm lucky I reached the stage in my life where I can do this. But I've got enough experience to do it, hopefully, in a non-destructive way. I believe ROAD TO HELL is one of my best, if not my best film. So its a legacy work. It's not the biggest budget, it won't have the biggest success, but its a huge success in my heart and soul. It's certainly the most visually stunning film of my career, its got the best music and best performances thus far, from veterans like Michael Pare', Deborah Van Valkenburgh and Clare Kramer to newcomers, Joei Fulco, Roxy Gunn, Paige Billiot, Chris Reject and Anita Leeman. It's really my best work to date. Unless until THE INTERROGATION OF CHERYL COOPER gets finished this month! Shane Ryan and Tommie Vegas really knocked it out of the park and delivered extraordinary performances. Just wait until you see it! I do expect that the KICKBOXER 2 remake will benefit greatly from the path I've chosen. All my films hereafter will. Cyborg Nemesis already shows a difference in the way I make my films. If these were to be my last films ever, I have no regrets. - Albert.
