Stream final cut of ROAD TO HELL

Wonderful reaction to what will be the final version of ROAD TO HELL. This reaction was from the stream:

"First, I also feel the ending in SOF is Romantic, classic Rock n Roll and an American cowboy folklore (hero rides into the sunset). Wow, "Road to Hell" is powerful. The acting is intense by the talents and Michael Pare was outstanding. I found myself concerned for Tom Cody even after watching him behave like an animal. I could really see he was mentally broken but tried to live by a code of honor. The to women, were very unique characters. At times I saw them as Demons but what I found unique was that Tom and the two serial killers were all victims in some way. Very different than the typical black and white characters in mainstream movies. I was also heartbroken to find out McCoy was killed by Tom. But I wonder if Tom really did it since he said he never killed someone he loved. Maybe there is another story in the future.lol. Roxy Gunn was incredible. Her eyes were so big and full of innocence and pain and wow! she can sing some Rock n Roll. Thank you for allowing me to see this film. I wish the production success. Have a good day."

I'm glad this new version works as well as it seems to. It represents refinements and revisions of previous versions. - Albert.

Saw what I believe was a pre-finished version several years ago at a film festival. Want to see the final and show my wife. Thanks.

I have devoured every tiny bit of this film found online -- trailers, music videos, etc. -- but have yet to find any official release details. Really hope this sees a full release at some point. With the 33rd anniversary of 'Streets of Fire' this past week the time is ripe for 'Road to Hell' to be released.

Why haven't the producers released this movie on DVD/BkuRay or the web? Are they that ashamed of it? They can still make money selling it. They;re not getting a cent hiding it like this.

Yeah, I'm hoping for the best as well... it appears to be a "screener" copy. Those typically have rolling text across the bottom of the picture which reads "screener copy, not for sale" or something like that. That wouldn't bother me as it would be cool just to see this darn movie. ;)

Most "screener" copies do have "Property of ?" scrolling across occasionally but I'm like you, I want to see this movie!!!!! It has been BS it not being released. Every time I would contact Curran I would be teased that it would be out soon. Not funny

Okay, I received the movie today and watched it. It was a very jagged movie. I liked the premise and wish it had been produced with a little more continuity and character development. It jumped around a lot and almost seemed to be a music video for Roxy toward the end. Pare is a much better actor then he was allowed to be in this. Could have been great. I will say that I am glad I was finally able to view it. Not sure what else to say.

AS with any sequel I have no expectations. I put Streets of Fire on par with Blade Runner. I just watched that squeal, BR 2049. Low expectations so I enjoyed it.
I think that the long wait for this has made me want to watch it even more!!

Okay, I just received my DVD copy and watched the first 35 mins.

The DVD copy itself is good... all artwork and picture quality are fine, and there is NO rolling text (at least not so far in the first 35 mins).

The movie: I just had to stop after 35mins... I don't like it at all.

The "cinematography", editing, and "special effects" are on par with a high-budget adult xxx film. The dialogue is even worse... just horrible. Michael Pare gets his first line about 20 mins into the film. I was already finding this movie hard to watch, then they have Cody do some really pointless and horrible stuff...

I don't want my nostalgic vision of Cody so tarnished. Shame on these people.

It is sad that both Michael Pare and Deborah Van Valkenburgh chose to be in this "film".

The Ellen Aim character is played by a different actress (obviously, no Diane Lane)... which was a bad idea.

The director is apparently known for some famous cult sci-fi movies, but I am a sci-fi fan and have never seen any of them. They all look atrocious... like something one used to find on late-night cable.

Anyway, I guess I'm glad I got to find out what this movie was... but not my cup of tea. Streets of Fire was a classic. I suppose Road to Hell is aptly named... it felt just like that.

I wish I could present a rebuttal to Mr. Ferrigno. I cannot.

I too stopped the DVD early ... at the point that the comment (and I paraphrase) "fellatio for ten dollars!" was exclaimed.
I expected my wife to come in and express her interest in what I was watching. (I had indicated the parcel the FedEx man handed her earlier in the day contained a very rare movie I had waited to see for many years and was very jazzed to watch.)

I was also disappointed with the "cinematography", editing, and "special effects" (or the lacking of ) as Mr. Ferrigno points out . Up to the point of the dialog I indicated I had the expectation of seeing Michael Pare in action and a story line that was at least a 1st or 2nd Cousin to "Streets of Fire". I was willing to forgo the 'level of art' I have enjoyed in other Albert Pyun files for the chance to see this video (I have a hard time typing film or even movie at this point). Nemesis, Omega Doom, Hong Kong 97, Cyborg, and Down Twisted all great films in IMHO. I now recall Nemesis 2,3 and 4...so maybe I guess had a bit of sequel warning. STILL Pyun is and will continue to be one of the top five film makers IMHO.

I am glad I have this on DVD and I will very, very late some night, hidden away and with a buffer of fear, watch this from start to end.

This movie was utter garbage I like horror movies if done right, but this was not. Quite possibly it could work as a stand alone B movie. To take a long standing movie, a "fable" in this case and twist it into one's own pathetic interpretation is a disservice to every single person who had their name in the credits of SOF.

The eager anticipation and hope for this movie during the several years I waited and hunted for it was the only high point I can mention. Wanting something that you have very high hopes for and then receiving what was, IMHO, one of the worst movies I have ever had the torture of watching, is mind boggling. This could have been really good but was ultimately really really really (did I mention really?) bad. It is a shame.

I have a DVD of this, see my earlier review.
I appears from time to time on line. I think I found it on eBay. It shows up on 'rare', 'htf' movie sites. It took me years to find it. I may never watch it. So disappointing.
But if you must have it, it appears from time to time.
